5th April 2010 10:44 EST WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff.
Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-sight, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.

I only watched the 17 minute version but this is utterly shocking and made my stomach turn. I will watch the longer version in a few days . This didn't feel at all real and it was almost as though the guys who were in the apache were playing a computer game and watching them bumping innocent people off one by one because the reporter was carrying a so- called weapon felt wrong. It makes me wonder what actually goes on when are countries are supposedly fighting for freedom. Maybe my response will be a bit more analytical when i calm down form the initial reaction of watching this.
